Deadlines

Grassroots Grants applications are considered by the Grassroots Grants panel monthly on the first Friday of each month, so there are no deadlines. But read the following paragraphs to learn more about the timescales.

You can re-apply at any time if your application is unsuccessful (unless the reason was that your organisation is ineligible) or if you wish to make another application and you have not received £5,000 from Grassroots Grants already.

Applications are processed and assessed before they can be presented to the panel. Your application will be taken to the next panel once this process is complete.

Applicants are notified of the panel's decision within five working days of the panel's meeting, and we send you a grant agreement which you must sign and return. On receipt of your grant agreement, you can expect payment of your grant (or the first instalment) within 10 working days.

So we recommend that you allow two months for your application to be receieved, processed, considered, and if successful for your grant to be processed and paid.
