Volunteer Centre Hull promotes volunteering in the community, advises thousands of people each year who wish to find out about interesting, rewarding and worthwhile volunteering opportunities and refers them to voluntary and statutory organisations across Hull.
Volunteer Centre Hull:
- Has a choice of well over three hundred different voluntary work opportunities with a wide variety of different groups. We can help point you in the right direction, according to your own circumstances and interests.
- Works in close partnership with statutory, voluntary and private sector as well as community groups and faith groups to develop local volunteering opportunities.
- Helps organisations attain minimum standards of good practice when involving volunteers through our Good Practice Guide in Working with Volunteers.
- Identifies proposals or legislation that may impact on volunteering by leading and /or participating in campaigns on issues that affect volunteers or volunteering.
